Before You Clean Your Registry…

Thursday, November 6th, 2008 by www   Subscribe To My Feed

Cleaning your registry is an advanced feature that should be taken seriously. Top techs highly recommend that before you touch, or repair your windows registry that you create a back up of the registry. This will allow you to get back to where you started should things go bad.

With today’s sophisticated registry repair products, such as the popular RegistryFix (see regfix review here), backing up the registy is a simple matter of pressing a button. These products will automatically create a backup for your registry. Then the the better products will go so far as to list and explain each entry so that you can fully understand what you are doing before you delete.

Regardless of which software you use, Always, Always back up first!
