Lose belly fat in women
Sunday, December 30th, 2007 by wwwThere is one and only one spot that women universally hate about their bodies: their stomachs. Every female wants to lose belly fat in women. Women have a real problem with this part of their bodies primarily because of the way they put weight on: starting with their breasts and hips, moving around to the stomach. And every woman who has ever been pregnant knows that part of the new belly stays with you forever!
So how do you lose belly fat? Women often find that diet alone doesn’t do it, nor do diet pills. Nutritionists tell you that when you lose weight, it comes off all over the body, and you can’t really target a specific area with either diet or exercise. While losing pregnancy weight is a good first step, it is impossible to ensure that weight is coming off the belly, and not the breasts or bottom.
While you can’t target a spot on your body to lose belly fat, women can use exercise programs to tone up specific parts, which has the end result of at least minimizing the appearance of the fat that is left. The most effective exercises are the ones that focus on toning and tightening the abdominal section of the body, from the bottom of the rib cage to the top of the hips. While these don’t reduce belly fat, women have found that the added muscle does make their stomachs appear flatter and firmer.
There’s another good reason to build stomach muscle: muscle burns more energy than fat. Every pound of fat you replace with a pound of muscle means you’re burning about an extra fifty calories a day to keep it charged with energy. If they want to continue to lose belly fat should not treat this as an excuse to eat more - but knowing that the muscle you’re building is going to keep more fat from accumulating can give you the extra little bit of willpower you need to stick with the regimen.
After pregnancy, weight loss seems to be much harder than before. Most women have between 12 and 21 pounds of mostly fat they need to lose after having the baby. This doesn’t seem like much weight, and women often plan to breastfeed to eliminate the extra fat - but new moms don’t take into account the sudden demands of a new baby. Instead of exercising and losing belly fat, women find they are sitting around holding the crying baby, or feeding it, or just lying exhausted on the couch. If they want to lose belly fat, women who’ve had children must find a way to get moving.
But exercise is not the only answer to how to get rid of fat. Eating sensibly, especially eating according to a diabetic diet plan, is critical. The USDA recently released a new food pyramid that is more than just the regular four food groups; if you want to lose belly fat, women, get a copy and follow the directions.

How to Start a Home Based Travel Business
Friday, December 28th, 2007 by wwwYou are probably considering the travel industry as a home based career choice because travel is fun and always in demand. If that is the way you think, you are absolutely right! Starting your own home based travel business requires a little research.
The research is actually pretty simple, and I will tell you exactly what I did to get started; I asked a friend a few questions, and then I went to a timeshare presentation. That’s it! End of research. Now here are the details.
A friend of mine has five kids and he travels to the same beach each year with the whole family. So I asked him, “How much does your resort cost each year?” He did not mind telling me at all that it was around $3,500 for a one week stay each year, plus their travel costs, which were relatively low since they always drove.
I then told him how his family could stay at a higher quality luxury resort for $3,500 this year, and for only $300 to $800 per week each year thereafter, and in a wide variety of higher quality international resorts. That was a real eye opener for him.
Now remember, this was research, and for research reasons alone, the fact that my friend was recently unemployed was a plus, as I knew that he was not in a position to buy a membership right now. He had already booked the family vacation for this year, but was more than glad to know about my discount luxury resort membership, and that he could travel during any week of the year, or even multiple times each year at the same weekly rate.
My conclusion for this research was that I was in the right business. Since this conversation put such a big smile on my friend’s face, I knew that I could help dozens of families with the luxury resort membership that I was selling from my small computer table and extra telephone line at my home office.
Here is research scenario two: I went to a timeshare presentation. I have avoided these for years, because everyone knows that the high pressure sales techniques of the timeshare sales force have turned many a No into a Yes.
True to form, those very nice timeshare sales professionals turned into pit bulls during the course of the presentation. I went through four managers on account of my unyielding No, and they even employed the good cop/bad cop technique on me.
Their last offer was substantially better than the initial offer (from $55,000 down to $14,000), but they mentioned the word ‘upgrade’ way to frequently. There was no getting over the math; timeshare ownership was a substantially inferior investment when compared to the timeshare alternative I was selling from my humble home office.
This was exceptionally valuable information for me. I have never owned a timeshare, but the condo and maintenance fees associated with ownership, compounded by blackout weeks, exchange fees and upgrade charges, really helped me to understand why so many people I know that love to travel have negative feelings toward timeshare ownership.
So there it is. Your research may be a little different, but you get the idea; ask questions and talk to people about their travel habits.
Go to places that may enhance your understanding of the travel industry, such as golf, ski, wilderness or beach resorts, or maybe even a tour of a cruise ship if that is available.
Count the costs, see what customers see, get educated, and then start your own home based travel business.

Great Pool Workouts For Fitness And Joy
Friday, December 28th, 2007 by wwwAlthough many fitness centers have it, if you have access to a pool, that may be the only gym you need to achieve a higher fitness level. Pool workouts can help you achieve greater health and muscle tone. They have less painful side effects and generally cause less injuries. If you’re already on a workout program, you can seamlessly add pool workouts into your routine for a more complete workout.
To help focus your water workout, it is recommended that you use a buoyancy belt to maintain your location and balance in the water and prevent putting stress on your back during the workouts. Aquatic dumbbells can also be used to perform this function. Aquatic dumbbells can be used in a greater variety of workouts than buoyancy belts, but many people don’t like having their hands tied up during their pool workouts.
You should consult with a physician before beginning any workout whether the reason is quick weight loss or just getting in better shape. It is also recommended that you work with a specialist in pool workouts to help you develop proper form for your workouts. The following is an overview of some popular pool workouts:
1. Crossover Crunches
Lie across the water on one side with your knees bent in to your chest. Then fold your feet and head towards each other. Repeat on the opposite side.
2. Diamond
Float vertically. Push the soles of your feet together with knees pointing in near opposite directions. Without feet coming apart, lift and lower your feet towards your buttocks.
3. Knee Crunch
Lie back in the water with your hips submerged and knees bent so that your lower legs are floating on the surface of the water. Use your abdominal muscles to curl your body forward until your knees reach your chest hen return to original position.
4. Knee Tuck
Take a deep breath and then lie facing downward in the water and dumbbells out to your sides. Pull your knees in to your chest then go back to your original position.
5. Oblique Twist
Lie back in the water with your legs together and your knees bent. Remain lying in the same position with your legs together while you move your knees down to one side and then back up and down to the other side and then back up.
6. Jack Knifes
Lie back in the water with your hips submerged and your knees bent so that your lower legs are floating on the surface of the water. Use your abdominal muscles to curl your body forward until your chest meets your knees. As you become more advanced, you can lessen the bend in your knees while doing this exercise until you don’t have to bend them at all. As you can see pool workout is not just fitness for men but for everyone.

Espresso Coffee - The Truth About Espresso Coffee
Friday, December 28th, 2007 by wwwSo what is the mystery surrounding espresso coffee? When the term espresso gets mentioned it seems to attract attention.
There’s nothing really mysterious about this delightful black brew other than it’s the coffee version of taking a shot of something a little stronger. Maybe that’s what they would do in a wild west saloon bar dedicated wholly and solely to coffee drinkers…”Give me a shot of espresso bartender…no, in fact, leave the pot. I’ve got some serious drinkin’ to do!”
Espresso is the Italian word for “pressed out.” The end product is created by way of passing hot water through ground coffee. There is a good degree of pressure involved both in delivering the water and coffee but the extract produced makes even the most avid coffee drinker go wobbly at the knees.
Crema
The word crema may not mean much to most but in espresso coffee it’s by far the most important extract. It’s basically a reddish foam-like substance which floats atop the coffee and is made up of oils, proteins and sugar – present in the coffee grounds.
The crema along with the caffeine in the natural coffee produces a thick syrupy liquid that is rich, full of heavenly aroma, and great to taste. Normally, it takes a barista about half a minute to pull a shot of espresso coffee. A freshly brewed espresso coffee must not be stored, as it will lose its original taste and flavor.
How To Brew A Good Espresso
One of the fascinating aspects of making an espresso coffee is watching the many versions of how to do it. Truth is, there is really only a few but it’s one of those things, like wine tasting, where every one is an expert. Heres a quick guide in brewing an espresso:
- Make sure the roasted beans are no more than 5 days old at tops. Two days is ideal.
- Avoid roasting the beans too dark. If buying roasted beans then make sure they are light enough otherwise they could lose their natural ingredients.
- Grind the beans to create an even texture with a good quality grinder.
- Grinding the beans just before producing a shot of espresso is the ideal scenario.
- Make sure the water used in your espresso machine is filtered.
- Pre-heat your espresso coffee cup. Cups are generally small and thick in nature which is by design because it’s said thick cups with narrow openings helps preserve the aroma and taste of the coffee.

Nerja Villas : for an alternative to the well-known resorts of the Costas
Friday, December 28th, 2007 by wwwDon’t write off Nerja just because its on the overly developed Costa del Sol, it is a great place to base a holiday due to its proximity to lots of sites and attractions both in and out of the town.
Nerja is a popular tourist destination on the Costa del Sol that sits 50km east of Malaga. By car it’s just over an hour from Granada and half an hour from the Sierra Nevada. A large amount of people spend their holidays in Nerja in nerja apartments and is a popular destination for those from the UK with approximately 2000 expats living permanently in the town. The obvious appeal is the weather as Nerja has one of the best climates in Europe and offers cheaply priced rental apartments, Nerja hotels plus some Nerja villas for rent. There is a large amount of Nerja accommodation available and the town boasts top class hotels like the Carabeo Nerja, Perla Marina Nerja, Nerja Parador and the Marina Hotel Nerja.
Nerja with its caves boasts the third most visited attraction in Spain. The most popular being the Prado in Madrid and Alhambra palace in Granada. Its beaches are also very popular and are another main attraction. They stretch for 5 km with the most famous being Burriana beach Nerja which is distinguished by gaining a rare blue flag rating. Many watersports are on offer there and along the whole strip. It is the centre for scuba diving in the Costa del Sol and easily accessible from nerja hotels. There is a natural amphitheatre that in the summer holds open air concerts. Outside of the town excursions include climbing the nearby mountains, Sierra Tejeda, Sierra de Almijara and the Sierra de Burno that dominates the town which any climber would find a challenge. The town also has a park called Cerro Gordo.
With the arrival of holiday makers and expats to the town over the last ten years, Nerja has lost some of its Spanish charm and fishing village ambience. However it is still worth visiting when it is compared with what can be found to the west of Malaga. It is rare among the Costa del Sol resorts to attract many visitors from the rest of Spain as well as from Europe. The town has kept its old town and its 17th Century church. In July it holds in annual fiesta which is called the Virgen del Carmen and offers a fun New Year’s eve.
To summarise, Nerja when compared to other resorts on the Costa has not suffered from over development and has hanged on to most of its charm due to the stunning coast line. Also due to its proximity to the famous white Andalusian villages makes Nerja a great option for short weekend of 2 week holiday in a hotel in nerja.

Should I Use Antivirus Trial Software?
Friday, December 28th, 2007 by wwwHistorically the phrase antivirus probably signified some new drug or hope for the human race but that was before the coming of the computer age.
More recently each time you mention the phrase anti virus software, you will not only catch the attention of computer geeks but some of the more savvy computer users as well.
But if you expand the phrase by mentioning antivirus trial, and you will catch the attention of not only the computer fanatics, but the entire humanity as well after all the world is becoming more understanding of the need to have proper virus protection on their systems!
In any case who would not want to be able to trial the software prior to purchase
Viruses, especially of the computer kind, are proliferating faster than their organic counterparts. These malicious programs, which probably started life as an innocent bit of code written by a programmer with a sense of humor, have evolved into rather frightening tools capable of making the most advanced IT infrastructure grind to a halt.
Quite often an inadequately protected computer will require serious computer maintenance or computer repair if it is unfortunate to contract one of these mutated versions.
This is why newer and newer antivirus programs are being written and introduced into the market all the time. But in keeping with the very nature of viruses, they are of little help in stopping all known, and as yet mutated versions.
This is where antivirus trial packages enter the marketplace. When a leading manufacturer of an antivirus program plans on introducing a new antivirus program into the market, the usual way to go about it is to offer an antivirus trial for customers.
This antivirus trial not only enables the customers to evaluate the program, but the more advanced customers can actually test the antivirus trial against several kinds of known and unknown viruses that inhabit cyberspace and in some cases, may even be able to suggest certain tweaks and changes to the antivirus trial which will make it better.
This is becoming an increasingly popular method of software testing for many software houses after all why waste hundreds of hours and sometimes millions of dollars on in house testing when you can get the public to do it for you and often much faster.
This is just one of the functions of an antivirus trial. Another purpose it serves is to enable existing manufacturers of antivirus packages lose a share of their market. The conventional manufacturers like McAfee or Norton already have a big chunk of the marketplace tied up. But the inherent flaw in their antivirus trials is that they are customized to cater to the broadest base of the market.
But some of the more highly specialized industries need custom built antivirus programs that address their specific needs. This is where the first release is often an antivirus trial geared to give exclusive customers a taste of the capabilities before building the entire package.
Think of these sort of antivirus trial programs as random samples or evaluation versions that help customers isolate and demand development in those specific fields that actually impact their business.
If you are at all unsure about antivrus programs talk to your local computer repair professional who will be happy to help.

I try to walk at least 30 minutes to an hour 3 to four times per week. If I could walk every day, it would be even better. Folks in Europe walk everywhere, whereas we here in the United States take our car everywhere. Shame on us. So, how much exercise is enough exercise, if you are doing more than walking? Eat right, get plenty of sleep and exercise. The most important thing of course, is to drink plenty of filtered water. At least an ounce for every pound of weight. What about whole grains? Yes, yes and yes. You could east lots of whole grains, and not worry about carbohydrates. You need to worry about carb’s when you are eating a lot of empty calories, like white bread, and crackers, and sugary stuff. Avoid the modified food starches, and enriched stuff, and run away from fruit drinks that have no fruit in them, but mostly sugars. If it says high fructose corn syrup,. avoid it like the plague.
